Vivica Fox and 50 Cent Beef - Good PR or Gone too Far?

Unless you live under a social media rock, then you've more than likely heard about the online war that flared up last week between former lovers 50 Cent and Vivica A. Fox as a result of her appearance on "Watch What Happens Live" with Andy Cohen.

Now, if you're wondering why the couple that once dated in 2003 is beefing online in 2015, trust that you certainly aren't the only one scratching your head. However, as recently as February of this year, Vivica admitted on the Meredith Vieira show that she is still very much in love with 50 Cent, but knows that he isn't right for her.

50 has maintained his resolve though that him and Vivica were never really a thing, rather that the media and public sensationalized their relationship. He even expressed feeling “confused” as to how Vivica could have such strong feelings for him in his interview earlier this year with Angie Martinez. But pictures that have been taken of them over the years do seem to confirm that there was, some sort of romance.

Is the torch that she's still carrying the reason that Vivica decided to go for 50 on live television, or is this some sort of publicity stunt on both of their parts? Her insinuation that 50 is gay was definitely the kind of juicy tea that Andy Cohen loves to spill. But why come for him now?

That wasn't where it ended though. She also talked about 50’s cover with Soulja Boy for XXL and said that he looked like a “booty snatcher” in the picture. Now, knowing that 50 has a reputation for holding no punches when it comes to his words, or going at someone publicly, why Vivica targeted 50 is hard to understand. Some say it’s a media stunt on both of their parts, but is that really necessary for either one of these stars? 50 already owns and stars in one of the hottest shows on prime-time cable- "Power", and Vivica is about to debut in one of the hottest shows on prime-time television- "Empire". So what do either of them need to go after the other for? Seems suspect.

My thing though is how much further 50 went in on IG, saying that she was trying to call him gay because she… ate the booty like groceries, for lack of a better term. His claim was that he was tied up and she rear ended him while there was nothing he could do about it. (pun intended) But, really??

This live admittance on 50's part has many fans now actually questioning 50’s sexuality and they have gone after him on IG as well. So, what are your thoughts? Does having your booty licked as a heterosexual man make you gay? Does doing that as a woman make you some sort of sexual deviant? Is it all in the act of sex and not to be judged? Did 50 go too far leaking intimate details on social media? Did she go too far when she came for him?  Does 50 look like a booty snatcher on that XXL cover? Does anyone really care when we have so much more to worry about in this world?
