Bryson Tiller by Andrew "DRU' Dobson in F.E.D.S. Magazine

Harmony and Flow Hip Hop is known for its many subgenre’s, from “Gangsta Rap” to
“Conscious Rap” from “Crunk Music” to “Trap Music”.  None of these
previous genres were as musically diverse as the current breed of
artist running the radio waves today; as rappers are now singers, and
singers are now rappers.  From Chris Brown to Drake, the line between
rapper and singer has almost completely been eliminated in this era,
and being able to harmonize and spit bars seems to now be the official
wave.

Such is the case with singer/rapper Bryson Tiller.  Hailing from
Louisville Kentucky, Bryson caught the ears of industry insiders when
he dropped his hit single “Don’t”.  Industry vet’s, like Timbaland and
Drake, co signed the up and comer and with over 100,000,000 views on
YouTube, the “Don’t” singer is becoming one of the main players in the
game.  Not bad for the 23 year old, who mentions in previous
interviews sleeping in his car working odd end jobs at Papa Johns and
UPS, but still recording his music.  Signing to RCA records in 2015,
Bryson, killing the charts with songs like “Don’t” and “Exchange”, may
have also put a label on the current sing/rap music trend calling it
“Trap Soul”.  “It’s just trap and hip hop-influenced R&B, the perfect
marriage between hip hop and R&B,” the artist states on his bio page
found on RCARecords.com

Trap Soul is also the name of Bryson’s album, which was released on
October 2nd 2015. The album is certified Gold and Bryson is currently
on tour in North America to continue promoting the album. Speaking
about the Tour with hip hop website The Boombox.com, Bryson states,
“I’m excited for that because this is going to be my first tour ever,”
“I actually recently performed for the first time.  I opened up for
Travi$ Scott in L.A. And that was crazy.  He puts on a show for real.

2016 has started off on the right track for the singer, as Bryson is
currently on tour performing tracks from his “Trap Soul” album.
Accolades are also coming Bryson’s way as he was nominated at the
Billboard awards for Top New Artist, Top New R&B artist, and top new
R&B album.

Bryson hopes to continue rising up the music charts with other future
projects in the works, at the same time the artist also hopes to make
an impact in the lives of his fans. In an interview with “The Boombox”
Tiller states,  “I want to inspire people to change the world.  That’s
something that I feel that I’m able to do here…really going to change
the world.  I asked God to make me immortal so I can do it”.
